**HAPPY TUESDAY!**
I mean its better than Monday, right? I just want to express my extreme joy when I came home from work, ready to make a killer lunch, put on the TV and what was on. FULL HOUSE?? anyone? OMG i was obsessed with this show beyond belief
Yes, I took a picture of the TV. That is little DJ and cute Stephanie singing with the Beach Boys?? remember those episodes and how corny it was when they all got to go on stage?? hahah WOW I still can’t get enough! Especially the younger years!

I digress, back to the food now! So I did forget to bring my camera to our feast yesterday I AM SO SO SORRY! I think I was just so hungry, we left and the only thing on my mind was food!! It was delicious though! Lots of bagels and lox, noodle kugels, jello mold with fruit and nuts, fresh fruit, cheeses, whitefish salad! Lots of yummy food!
Today, I came home and made a KILLER lunch. Salad and a sammie, ya dig?? I went to Trader Joes yesterday and picked up a few essentials. I was ready to get the Mango Chutney again until I saw…
This Apple Cranberry Chutney I found at TJ’s was certainly making an appearence in my wrap for lunch!!
Oh and this was making an appearance as well!

Salad made with lettuce, peppers, cabbage, carrots, some balsamic glaze, walnuts, cuke- extra piece of the turkey ( I had 3.4 oz all together)
SUCH A GOOD LUNCH! THis fueled me for my full body workout!! ( I did my cardio this morning and ran 3.5 miles!!)
This workout was one from my trainer from last week. I usually see him every Monday afternoon but because of the holiday yesterday I couldn’t meet with him….so sad!
I did this workout on my own and it was awesome! People ask me all the time “Naomi you ARE a trainer, why do you have a trainer?” and I respond “Well, Doctors have doctors, therapists have therapists and so on…trainers have trainers too!! Even my trainer has a trainer! SO, yes I have a trainer haha and I <3 him soo much!!
My post workout meal
before blended (3 eggwhites, 1/2 scoop Protein powder, half of this unripe nanner)
In the pan. I put:
Naomi’s Post Workout Pancake!!
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 scoop protein powder in the magic bullet
- make it into a protein pancake!
- Then I slice the nanner right on top!
Final Product! Naomi’s Post WOrkout Protein Pancake!
- This is the 2 types of protein I am currently using. I LOVE BSN (the red container) for cooking. It makes everything so fluffy and tasty!! This flavor happens to be Cinnamon Roll-HIGHLY recommened for stirring in oats or for a protein pancake!
- The other container is AllMax Isoflex -Chocolate PB flavor and it has real chocolate chips inside! Great in Shakes!
Peanut butter PB shake
- 1 scoop isoflex chocolate peanut butter protein
- 1 banana
- 1/2 C water
- 1/2 C skim or soy milk
- ice
- BLEND!
- Perfect for your Post Workout Smoothie!
Off to shower and go to the BF’s for dinner and to hang!!

Full House was always on Friday nights when I was young. I think it was followed with Family Matters and Perfect Strangers. Wow, I’m really dating myself aren’t I? haha! My favorite shows were The Wonder Years and 90210.

Ohmigosh I LOVE LOVE LOVE Full House. And to Melissa who commented above me – that was TGIF! I remember LOVING TGIF and watching it religiously. I was just thinking of the TGIF theme song before the shows started. I was devastated when Full House ended. I could watch it all day long! My husband doesn’t get it because he is 10 yrs older than me, so when it was on he was too ‘cool’ for it. I’m so glad other’s share my obsession. 🙂 I also am obsessed with Boy Meets World, Dawsons Creek, and Felicity.
Full House was one of my favorites, FOR SURE! And, Hey Dude on Nickelodeon, and Salute Your Shorts, and of course…SAVED BY THE BELL!!
Love your TJ’s turkey wrap. I’ve never had their lunch meat but I Really should start buying it because I’ve noticed lately that I am not getting much protein in my diet. I usually don’t like to buy deli meet, but I trust just about anything TJ’s sells!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I bet you are glad the fasting is over with. My fave part is the breakfast foods. I could eat bagels and lox all day long. At the last minute we got a kugel from a neighbor so that was pretty good since I wanted to make my own on Rosh Hashanah and that never happened. I look forward to reading more of your blog. For now I am off to bed, it is so late and I have a 4 hour time difference jet lag thing going on.

The wrap looks great. I regret to say my donwfall sandwich is apple butter, brie and turkey slices on a piece of bread. Your trainer would NOT like that. And I don’t tell my trainer when I eat that!!!!
