Hello friends!
A dreary ole’ day In Boston….You just have to love the New England weather-one day beautiful, the next cold, wet and rainy. I think its so interesting the effect that weather has on the mood and outlook of people. When it is nice out, everyone is so cheery and smiley and friendly and THEN rain hits, clouds roll in and everyone is frown faced, and down in the dumps “Oh its raining out!” thats their excuse for being in a sour mood-as if the world is coming to an end because of the weather. Despite the weather, I try to be upbeat and positive and know that this is just one day and tomorrow, It could be blue skies!
*What do you do to get yourself out of the bad weather Blues??**
I started the day off with an awesome 4.3 mile run on the treadmill. I was in the zone due to some new tunes I got on my Ipod yesterday
The techno side of me is showing: Basshunter’s New CD- In-freakin-credible for all you cardio junkies.
After my run I felt AWESOME but I also realized that I needed some new running kicks. I am in love with my
Brooks Glycerine’s and so sad but I also know that a brand new pair will do my feetsies a world of wonder… I will get to the shoes in a little bit!
Now, It was time for breakfast my friends.
1/2 C oats, chia, 1/2 nanner, blueberries, 2 diced strawberries, Truvia, Dollop of Friendship cottage cheese, Justins…Perfection.
This held me over quite well, well this and my Green Mountain pumpkin spice coffee. We have Green Mountain at work which is perfect for me. I mean its no gourmet blend, but it certainly does the job and Pumpkin Spice coffee HAPPENS to be my favorite holiday favorite-just sayin’
Next up: Snack Time!
Plain Chobs with cinnamon, Kashi Go Lean Cereal
mmmmm…creamy deliciousness (yes I put the Kashi in the cereal)
Lunch time happened a few hours later after work and after I went to the post office to FINALLY mail my giveaway package to
Ms. Averie and Loveveggiesandyoga It’s on its way Averie!!
I came home to get this fun little present in the mail!

Lunch Time
The star of the show: Mr. Cabot himself in 50% reduced fat sharp chedder! its soo good!!
some slices of the cheese ready to go on my…..wrap (duh you could’ve guessed that one!)
Josephs lavash wrap, Dijon Mustard, Cabot chedder, lettuce, tomato, red onion, turkey breast, sprouts
Wrap with a dollop of hummus on the side
Just the best.hummus.ever
Sabra Original… These guys know what they’re doing when it comes to hummus. It is so light, creamy and full of authentic flavor!
After Lunch I went to my hairdresser. If you don’t remember I had a hair appointment, 1 week ago today and she didn’t do exactly what I asked. My hair turned out a bit more red than I would have liked and so she told me to come back and she would fix it! Well, I took her up on that because after that price, I was going to get what I asked for! (sorry I didn’t snap a shot maybe tonight!)
After THAT, I went to get my new running shoes! I went to
Marathon Sports , which is in my opinion is the best store to buy running shoes. The employees really pay 100% attention. They have you take off your shoes and watch your gait. Then they take you outside on the pavement and watch jog a bit. They are very hands on (not in a creepy touchy way) but really want to make sure you are 100% happy with your purchase. They even have a treadmill in the store so you can test it on that!
Most important, these employees practice what they preach! which I think is super important when you are going to buy anything that you have a passion for, it makes it that much more relaxing knowing that these people share that same passion!
TAH-DAH!
The New Brooks Glycerin 7. These are perfect for my neutral feetsies! LOVES IT!
I came home and it was certainly time to put something in my belly! I decided to break open the other can of canned pumpkin and make a festive, beautifully colored mush
cottage cheese, pumpkin, maple extract, truvia, pumpkin pie spice, Kashi Go-Lean
HEAVEN
All Natural Frontier maple extract. (Got this baby at Whole Foods) A little bit of this goes a long way but it is soo good and adds that perfect sweetness to the pumpkin mush!
Cuppa Gingerbread Tea. Look at this mug I made for my mom for mothers day this year! Shutterfly did all the work, I sent the picture! Great Gift Idea!!
Ok bloggies, thats all I got for now… I hope you all have a great night and remember even if it is cloudy, cold and rainy, just remember tomorrow is a brand new day!!
Don’t forget to enter the Nasoya Giveaway!

I love Nasoya and it’s the only brand of tofu I use. I always buy the light firm, freeze it and then defrost it in the fridge before cutting it in half and sauteeing it in oil for a yummy veggie and rice stir-fry. Freezing it first makes all the difference with the texture.
Great giveaway!
