Happy Friday Bloggies!
Sorry for my lack of postage yesterday, it was a busy one and had work at 5am this morning so when I got home, I didn’t have much staying awake time left! I thought I would kick Friday off with a great one!
I started the morning off with a treadmill run, Obviously not outside because it was SNOWING TODAY! yes it was, it is Boston in October and I guess you never know what to expect!
I am loving my new Brooks Glycerin’s! The feeling of new running sneaks, is like no other. I feel like I am running on a cloud!!! I did 4.15 miles in about 37 minutes. It was awesome, I was nice and sweaty, but I love that feeling after a run–that accomplished feeling. Jamming out to some great tunes, Cascada “evacuate the dancefloor” Paradiso girls “Patron, tequila” Anyone, like these?? they are awesome cardio tunes!
I will start with somewhat a recap of yesterday’s eats
Dinner
Leftover
Pumpkin Chili w/ a dollop of chobs plain greek yogurt. It was even more amazing today because with chili, typically the longer it sits, the better it tastes!
Later that day I broke into this Larabar. New flavor for me! Product Review time!!
Cinnamon Roll LaraBar
Ingredients: Dates, almonds, walnuts, raisins, cashews, cinnamon (a bit more ingredients than some other flavors I have had!)
Texture: Typical Larabar texture, chewy and sticky and delicious. I have noticed the size has gotten smaller!! I noticed some other bloggies write about this and yes, I did notice!
Taste: I really liked this bar! I have never tried this flavor before but I was excited because I <3 cinnamon, I think maybe too much. My dad calls me crazy for how much I put on my oatmeal sometimes! It had a strong cinnamony flavor, but not overbearing, so the flavor of the dried fruit and nuts was certainly still present in each bite. I think this bar would be delicious crushed up in some greek yogurt or a fabulous oatmeal topper! I would give it a 8.5/10!
I liked the large chunks of almonds and cashews that I bit into!
————————————————————————————————————————–
Breakfast for this dreary Friday morning!
This would be 1/2 C oats, chia, strawberries, blueberries, Justins honey peanut butter (about 3/4 packet) 1/3 C friendship cottage cheese, Truvia
After breakfast I got some reading done in my SPINNING manual…why? you ask…well I am getting certified tomorrow!! I am so freakin excited. It will be a long day, but an informative and good one at that! We were told to bring some clothes, food (lots for me!!) Probably pack some granola and protein bars, wrap for lunch, banana, apple, peanut butter packet, Kashi-go lean…I like to OVER pack my food, ya know just in case 🙂

Good luck getting your spin certification. Where do you live in Boston? (Not sure if you saw my reply to your comment…I’m in the South End) I’ve only tried spinning twice. It’s an intense workout. I really should go more often.

Hope everything went well with the spin cert. I bet you are tired today after all that. I haven’t had a Larabar in a while, so I don’t even know what flavors there are anymore.
I don’t get excited anymore when I go to the grocery store since the commissary is often empty when I go. When I go to the local markets it is much more exciting.
