As Seen On TV

FRIDAY! woooo. Made it to the end of the work week. How is everyone’s morning going? Mine is just great. I went to bed dreaming of G.T.L. I started watching the new Jersey Shore at 10, but lets be honest…it is quite past my bedtime, so I lasted about a half hour before any of the ‘drama’ probably happened. I will watch later on the computer. Why is it that show is so fun to watch? I call it ‘mindless TV’

I have a confession. I also watch other mindless shows. Infomercials. I love them, I don’t know why. I can be browsing the TV, seeing whats on and then get hooked on watching the infomercials for “Slap-Chop” or the “Nu-Wave” oven. 

Why is it that we, as consumers are so hooked on infomercials? I seriously get sucked in and more than once acutally bought something! In 8th grade, I saw an informercial for WRAP SNAP AND GO! I was always envious of those girls with beautiful curled locks, and there was me with big, frizzy, untamed hair. So I gave in

Workout of the day was the Turbo Fire EZ 45 class. I was Tweeting about after I finished, with a dripping sweating bod, so for those of you who don’t think its a good workout? Think again. I think I am more sweaty after a Turbo Fire workout than a Spin class! the 45 EZ class was definately one of my favorite ones! There is no “fire drills” (which is the 1 min HIIT workouts) but you are moving the entire 45 minutes. It is high intensity and awesome! What I also like about the dvd is that for those who cannot do some of the more high impact work (jumping etc) there is always one woman who does everything low impact, so you can follow her and still have a great workout!

I had a reader recommendation to cook the eggwhites BEFORE putting them in the oats, then mixing it all together. This morning, I gave it a try. I added 1/2 C blueberries and strawberries & cinnamon. I really liked this combination! It had a bit of a different texture, but loved it!


Lunch was a veggie packed salad with left over grilled chicken. I added chickpeas and pinto beans as well! I loved cold asparagus in this salad. Definately want this to be a staple!
Afternoon snack protein shake! I mixed 1 scoop Sun Warrior vanilla with 1/2 C blueberries, 1 C almond milk, ice and water. Before this I did the 20 Core turbo Fire workout. That is awesome! I love it because you are standing upright for most of it! SHe does a lot of zig zag moves and uses the resistance band as well. 
Snack of eggwhites, cinnamon & millet puffs. I also had a 100 calorie pack of raw almonds

This morning, I wanted to wake up to THIS. MMMMM.

Can we talk about this breakfast?

Ok. I don’t really want to because its time to eat!  hehe
