Hey friends! Happy Saturday! I am having quite a lovely day today which started off with HOT yoga. I turned to twitter yesterday and also texted some friends on recommendations of studios near me. I used to go to one, but since I moved it isn’t the closest option. I know there are LOTS of great yoga studios around where I love now, so I wanted to give one a shot! I ended up going to Prana Yoga It was an awesome class! It was 90 min heated, power flow yoga. I felt strong and empowered and totally refreshed after class. I am far from a ‘yogi’ but once in a while I CRAVE hot yoga. The movement, strength, stretch and flexibility is just something that is so important and so relaxing!
Another great part of my weekend. Some awesome finds! I picked up two pairs of sunglasses for $10 bucks when I went to pick up a prescription from Walgreens. SCORE
Fresh, no?
I think so.
Another great find? Well I had a sweet $10 coupon from Olympia Sports because my birthday is next week, so I snagged a Camelbak water bottle! I hear these are good ones and fun to use. It ended up being $5 with my coupon!
Great for working out!
Oh just some new casual jewlery. Ok I lied. It is not casual, and these are strictly for competition purposes. 4 1/2 weeks!!!!
Speaking of competition. I am zero’ing in on the good fats in the form of oils. I went to Whole Foods today to pick up some flax oil when I spotted this gem
Coconut flavored flax oil! It is 100% pure flax oil with natural coconut flavor. Not only that, but they had banana and chocolate flavor as well! It is BEYOND delicious. If you don’t like flax oil–go buy this (and its on sale right now at Whole Foods for $5.99!)
I immediately used some on my Greek yogurt + quinoa + apple combination
Wow, it was delicious. I am SO happy I found it! I am going to go back and buy another flavor for sure!
First iced coffee of the season! It was just as good as I hoped!
While at WF buying flax oil, I also picked up some extra lean ground beef. Upon arriving back at home, I immediately mixed the ground beef with italian seasonings and spicy brown mustard. Form into little balls and cooked in the oven at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes.
And I just enjoyed a delicious salad with baby spinach, mushrooms, fresh dill, sprouts, asparagus and grilled chicken. Where did I eat it? Panera Bread. I know, I know, there are plenty of things I can eat at Panera Bread…but honestly? I like my own food better. I am sitting here on my computer, relaxing, blogging and just wanted my own food…
But I did want their coffee!!
Happy Saturday!
